Cottonwood leaves dipped in 24 K gold. The leaf part of earring is 1" long and about 1" wide at the widest part. Earrings have never been worn. French loop earwires are nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Leaves are harvested by hand from the trees and then preserved for months before going through a process that allows organic materials to be electroplated in layers of copper, nickel and then finally dipped in gold.
