The world's earliest identified printing advertisement medium came from China during the Song Dynasty (969-1269 CE); a copper printing plate was used to make a poster advertising sewing needles. This beautifully framed print of a Chinese poster advertisement appeared in 1918 for Lobowl Medical Co. Each small picture to the right and left of center touts different herbal medicines and supplements. At the bottom is a calendar for the Chinese year which corresponds to 1918. The language is traditional Chinese and the company is most likely in Hong Kong or Taiwan. Dimensions are 26 1/2" x 36". Estimated value=$100
